Michael Trigwell

Michael has been conducting market and social research for local government, state government and commercial clients for over 17 years.

He had a deep affinity with data and statistics from early on (he was the kid who kept stats about sports teams and players from around 6 years of age)!

After starting his marketing career in the IT and shipping sectors, he move into business strategy within the heavy equipment sector. Then he finally found a career where he could use his child-like love for data to create stories – market and social research with Taverner Research.

Michael is proud to lead the great bunch of researchers and fellow ‘data-nuts’ at Taverner Research as they continue to inspire and excite clients with insightful findings about their businesses and industries. When Michael finds downtime he loves playing sports such as football (the round ball type), rugby union, athletics and basketball with his two boys or trying (struggling) to improve his golf handicap on the many courses around Australia.
